About me :

• I'm British .

• I completed the University of Cambridge's CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) qualification, and achieved the highest mark, a Pass A . Less than 5% of candidates achieve this grade.

• I have 5 years of experience teaching English at highly-respected language schools in Poland and the UK.

• Most of my experience has been with Polish learners of English, so I am aware of the problems Polish people typically have with the language.

• I am dedicated to my own professional development. I have attended numerous teacher training conferences and workshops, and in recent years I have delivered my own training sessions to teachers in Toruń and Bydgoszcz.

• I am studying Polish in my spare time and I am able to hold a basic conversation in Polish.

What I offer:

I am a calm and patient teacher who is easy to talk to. My lessons follow the communicative approach, with a focus on helping the learner feel comfortable and confident speaking in English.

I have experience teaching:

• Adults.

• Teenagers and children aged 8+.

• Every level from A1 to C2.

• Preparation classes for the Cambridge exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE, CPE).

• Business English classes.

Before our first lesson, I offer all new students a free 30-minute consultation via Zoom. This allows us to get to know each other a bit, and allows me to learn more about your level of English, what you need help with and what your goals are.

Individual Lessons:

• You choose how often and how long you want the lessons to be.

• Available online or in-person in Toruń.

• PLN 120 per 60 minutes.

• Available for all levels (A1-C2)

• Students preparing for Cambridge exams can get as many marked writings as they wish.

I design my individual lessons to suit each student's needs, goals and learning preferences. We will focus on the areas of English you find most difficult and work on improving them in ways that are most effective for you. I provide all the materials, and I can offer you as much extra material to study at home as you need.
