Hi, I'm Timothy O'Flaherty, a business communication trainer, coach, and founder of InterLanguage Lab in Warsaw, Poland. I help professionals communicate more effectively in international business environments, whether that means leading meetings, giving presentations, negotiating agreements, managing conflict, collaborating across cultures, or building stronger professional relationships in English.

Originally from New York, I have spent more than a decade living and working in Poland and hold a C1 Certificate in Polish. Having learned Polish as a foreign language myself, I understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities that come with communicating across languages and cultures. This experience allows me to support clients not only with language, but also with the confidence and practical communication skills required in today's international workplace.

A Little More About Me

Outside of work, I am a lifelong learner with a strong interest in history, philosophy, psychology, and economics. I am also a musician and play the clarinet, saxophone, bass guitar, and drums. Music has taught me many of the same skills I value in communication: listening carefully, adapting to others, and balancing preparation with improvisation.
